Disneyland, Day 1

In August of 2010, my mom called me to say she (or rather my grandparents) had found a great deal on a cruise.  It was supposed to be an Education Week at Sea, and the best part was that it was free!  (we had to pay taxes and shore excursions, but that was it!)  We booked it and have been so excited to go.  However, in September of this year we got a letter from the travel agency saying that because of Civil Unrest in Mazatlan, they could no longer offer the cruise for free.  We had to choose a different vacation to go on, so we all got together and decided to go to Disneyland!!  It was no relaxing cruise, but we still had a lot of fun.  The kids did really well in the car, and Zachary absolutely loved Disneyland.  Daphne liked it as long as Grandma was holding her and she got to do whatever she wanted, but we'll just say that I'm never taking an 18-month old to Disneyland again....

The "neighs" was by far Daphne's favorite ride.  It was the first thing she saw, and I think she rode it over 30 times through the three days....

Neil wanted to get a panning shot while on the carousel.  I think it turned out pretty cool!

Wow, look at those Elephants!!!

The kids started to get cranky, so we searched for some French Fries and of course they were happy

The kids loved the little petting zoo (which I didn't even know existed!)

Hi, goat, how are you today?

Since it was Halloween, they had some cool pumpkins

Classic!!!

On the train, one of their favorites!
