5 Months Old!!!

All I can say is that time flies way too fast!!! My little babies are growing up, and Daphne is learning to do all sorts of things. She can roll over both ways, although she prefers to roll from her back to her tummy and then just scream really loud. She's started on solids, and she loves sweet potatoes and rice cereal with apple juice, but she does NOT like green beans. She sleeps 11-12 hours at night, and is generally a good-natured baby, especially if you are holding her and talking to her! When I was taking her 5 month pictures, Zachary wanted me to take some of him too, so here's a few pictures of the both of them.

McCall's Wedding

My step-sister McCall got married last weekend, so we got to make a trip up to Logan. I didn't get a ton of pictures, but we had a good time (until the car ride home, anyway). Here's the pictures that I did get:

My mom bought them matching dresses (which were actually the same size) and we tried to get some pictures, but we never got one of both of them looking at the camera.

Aaahhh, how sweet!

We also tried to get all four grandkids, but that was even harder to get a good one!

What a cute smile :)

Sibling Activity

At the beginning of the year my siblings and I (and our spouses) decided to do an activity together without any kids. It was so much fun that we wanted to do it again, and will probably make it a semi-annual event. This time we went miniature golfing, and the unmarried siblings even got to bring dates. :) It was a lot of fun, but 10 people is a lot to go golfing with all in one group....

Carson and Neil acting as the engineers that they are :)

Someone has to have the job of holding the flag, right?

And many interesting shots....

New Truck!!!

Neil has been wanting to get a truck for over a year now, and we finally decided to do it. We found one that we liked on KSL, and now three days later, we own it!! Neil is pretty excited, and it will be nice to have something to pull our tent trailer, haul dirt, etc. And Zachary loves it, which is good, because he will be really sad when we have to sell the Jeep.

Camping!!!

I love camping, and for one reason or another I haven't been able to go for about three years. We went camping over the 24th of July with some friends, and it was a blast!!! It was my first time camping with kids, and it went really well. Zachary loved it, and Daphne did great too, even though she didn't like the cold. We used my grandparents tent trailer, and I'm not sure we'll ever go back to using tents again!! :)

Neil cooked our yummy apple pancakes in the morning :)

Look at that dirty face!!!

Rex is practicing to be a daddy soon :)

We left some extra brownie batter in the tent trailer and Zachary found it...

Yummy!!!!

We went up to the high uintas, and it was sooooo pretty!!

I made a peach cobbler in the dutch oven. We put it in the fire pit, which was way too hot, so half of it burned, but it was yummy anyway. The only problem was that I couldn't get all the burned stuff off when we got home!!!

I love my cute little kids

Such a happy baby!!

Random July Happenings

July was a fairly busy month, and it went by so fast!!! We didn't do anything spectacular, but it was a fun month and we filled it with lots of little things. The kids are growing up so fast, and it's fun to see them doing new things that bring adorable smiles to their faces. Here are a few of the things that we did this month:

I bought a little pool, and Zachary loves to go swimming!!!

Daphne had her first taste of something other than milk....marionberry! She LOVED it, and was quite angry when I stopped giving her tastes.

After that, I decided to try her on rice cereal, and she actually did pretty well.

We went to Boondocks for Neil's work party, and had a great time. Zachary was only tall enough to go on the boats (with a little fudging), even though he was begging to go on the go karts. Finally at the end of the day, one of the workers let him go on them even though he wasn't nearly tall enough, and he was in heaven!!! I didn't get a picture because it was raining at the time, but it definitely made his day. Oh yeah, and we went miniature golfing, where Zachary proceeded to throw all our balls in the lake and then after I fished them out (with much difficulty) he threw two of them in a hole in a wall where we couldn't get them out!

I got an ABC and Counting CD for Zachary, and he loves to sit in the box and listen to it. :)
