Zachary's Spring Preschool Program

Zachary has absolutely loved preschool this year!!  He's learned a lot, and he loves playing with lots of different friends.  We went to his spring program a couple of weeks ago.  He said his part, and even though you couldn't really understand it, he wouldn't even say it at the Christmas program!  Then they sang some songs and he started off pretty good, but eventually was laying on the stage, and then came and sat in my lap.  Apparently he's not a performer!  Oh, well, he was cute anyway and maybe he'll do better next year....

This is his teacher, Miss Roxi, who did a great job with him!

As you can see, Daphne really enjoyed the BBQ

Cinco de Mayo

We went up to my Grandparent's house for Cinco de Mayo this year.  It's not necessarily a holiday we usually celebrate, but it was fun.  We had yummy Mexican foods, and then the kids got to hit a pinata.  My kids thought it was great, and I got some fun pictures!

Rock Climbing

The first weekend in May, my Dad and stepmom offered to watch the kids for the weekend.  Neil and Martin were planning on going climbing one of those days, so I decided to tag along.  I haven't been rock climbing in probably 8 years, so I was a little nervous about how I would do.  The day ended up being awesome!!  We found a great spot where we were alone for most of the time, and the climbing was really fun.  I actually made it to the top of a 80-90 foot climb, which I never thought I'd be able to do.  Go me!  ;)

Coming down (these pictures are out of order....stupid blogger!)

Martin starting off

Neil had to lead-climb it first and then we top-roped it

Almost to the top!  This was my second climb, and it was more sheer and a lot harder than the first one.

At the top!

Bowling

While Neil and his immediate family went to the temple, the kids and I went bowling at BYU.  I was a little apprehensive about how they would do, but they loved it!!  Zachary started out pushing his ball down the ramp, but then halfway through decided he wanted to throw it himself.  It took the ball a while to get to the pins, but he ended up actually getting a pretty good score.  It was actually one of the best scores I've ever gotten, as well.  We'll definitely have to do it again!

Graduation Time!

At the end of April, Neil's family celebrated a special event.  His mom graduated from college!!  She started 40 years ago, took a long break to raise a family, and then started doing online courses a few years back.  She finally finished and we're so proud of her!!  She came up to Utah so that she could walk, and all her kids surprised her by showing up the day before.  It was so much fun, and awesome to have everyone there.

These three girls were all born within a 6 week period.  It was fun to have them all together!

Shally was the first surprise.  :)

We all went to dinner at Tucanos.  (Neil and I were at the other end of the table)  It was super yummy and lots of fun

Congratulations, Momm!!!
