Fall Family Pictures

One of my favorite times to take pictures is during the fall when the leaves are changing colors. I took advantage of that this year and used the excuse that our family picture is out of date because Daphne changes so quickly. I scoped out some areas up the canyon, borrowed my dad's really nice camera, and invited some friends to come along and take pictures with us. It was definitely a challenge getting everyone happy and looking at the camera, and Zachary didn't want his picture taken at all, but I think we ended up with some cute shots (especially if we use photoshop to fix a few things). Here are some of my favorites:

7 Months Old!

Wow, my baby is just growing up too fast!!! She turned 7 months old yesterday and is starting to do so many things. She can finally roll all over the room, and she likes her new mobility. However, she now wants to crawl and get into things just like her big brother. :) She pulls her knees under her, but hasn't quite figured out how to make that work to her advantage. She loves solid foods, and is quite excited to be allowed finger foods such as pretzels, bread, rice cakes, twizzlers.....hmmm.... Anyway, she is still our happy baby for the most part but she has developed the most piercing scream I ever heard. This usually causes Zachary to scream as well, and then I have to yell so they can hear me, and so you get the picture. We love our Daphne, and we're excited to see what the next month brings!

New Haircut

My hair has been bothering me for a while now, so I decided it was time for a change!! I've basically had the same cut with varying lengths (all of them long) for almost 10 years, so this time I wanted to do something drastic. Well, drastic for me anyway.... It's been a week now, and I love it!! It's easier to do in some ways, but harder because I can't stick it into a ponytail. That was the whole point, though, so here's the new me :)
