Halloween Activities

Slowly but surely I will get this blog updated :)  This year, I had all sorts of fun ideas to during the month of October.  I love Halloween, and my kids love it when we do "crafts."  Unfortunately, I still didn't have a lot of energy so we didn't end up doing very many.  One thing we did do was make our own pin the face on the pumpkin!  It probably only lasted about 10 minutes, but at least they had fun!

Caribbean Cruise Part 3

Our last stop was at Cozumel.  We didn't have much to do this day, so we decided to take a small snorkeling trip.  Neither of us had done it before, and it was pretty fun.  There wasn't all that much to see, but it was still a good place to learn.  The last day was a sea day, but there were a ton of things to do.  We went ice skating, and Neil did the flow rider and won a rock climbing competition!  I can't WAIT to do another cruise!!!

The dinners we had in the dining room were absolutely delicious!!!

This is the couple we sat with at dinner

We wanted to get a picture with Po for the kids

Mini golfing on a windy, moving cruise ship is a little difficult!

Here's Neil in his speed climbing competition.  He won first place!

Caribbean Cruist Part 2

The third day, we went to Grand Cayman.  We were told by friends and relatives that we HAD to swim with the stingrays, and I'm so glad we did!  It was super cool to have them swimming all around us, and I even got to give one a kiss!

It was about a 45 minute ferry ride to the stingrays

The stingrays were swimming all around

"Who wants to be my first brave volunteer?"

I love this cool underwater shot!

I can't get my computer to flip this image...

Eeew, gross!  When we got home Zachary kept asking me if it was slimy.  It actually wasn't as bad as I thought

Apparently Grand Cayman is the place for pirates

Caribbean Cruise Part 1

The first week of October, Neil and I got to go on our very first cruise!  We went to the Western Caribbean, and had the time of our lives.  I was a little nervous because I was only 14 weeks pregnant, but I didn't have any morning sickness or motion sickness at all!  We got to go to Haiti, Jamaica, Grand Cayman, and Cozumel.  The weather was perfect, the alone-time was much needed, and I'm so glad that we were able to do it!

First Day on the ship!

This was our first formal night.  We didn't get a great picture of it :(

We bought a waterproof case for our camera, so we were trying it out

The next day we were in Jamaica.  We took a bus to Dunns River Falls.  You walk up the waterfall, and it was a blast!

Brrrrr!

No, he wasn't really dropping me ;)

After the falls, we went to a grotto which was also pretty cool
