Disneyland! Day 1, Part 2

Later in the day, we went over and did Adventureland and Frontierland, which are some of my favorite rides. 

I told Zachary when the cameras were going to take our picture so that he could pretend he was scared.

Waiting for the others to come off Indiana Jones.  Zachary was a little too short and he was so disappointed!  This is my kid who loves the thrill!

Time for the daily treat! 

Right after this we went to the Haunted Mansion.  I thought the kids would be scared, but I had talked it up and it turned out to be one of Daphne's favorite rides!  She thought the ghosts were funny when they sat on your lap :)

Right before we got to Tigger, he had to leave :(  We snapped this shot as he was leaving though.

I went back and forth over whether to bring our big stroller, and I'm soooo glad I did!  I always had kids riding in it.

While the big kids went on Big Thunder, the little ones went to see the goats.  Xander was fascinated.  Daphne liked looking at them, but refused to touch them.

Disneyland! Day 1, Part 1

We went to Disneyland a couple of weeks ago, and had a great time!!  It's been a long time in the planning, and right before we weren't even sure we would be able to go, but we did and it was awesome!  The kids had a blast, and even Xander did really well.  Here's some of the pictures, with commentary so I can remember the trip when I finally scrapbook it :)

Xander was fascinated by the airplanes.  He was a little restless on the flight, but overall he did really well!

Zachary talked Matt's ear off while we were waiting.  He is so curious about everything!

Before we even got into the park, we had to wait in a line.  This is Zachary and Daphne waiting for our first ride.  Zachary did NOT want to wait!  Luckily, he got used to it and didn't complain the entire day.

I bought the kids matching shirts, so I needed a picture. 

Karen and I watched the little ones while everyone else did Space Mountain

My brother and his family came too, and so did my Dad and his family.  It was super fun!

We bought a photo pass, so we got the pictures of all our ride attractions

You can't tell, but Zachary's FAVORITE ride was Space Mountain.  He rode it 5 times!

Meanwhile, the little girls got to meet the fairies :)

While we were waiting in line, Xander threw his binkie into the stream that was next to us.  I didn't have a spare, so I jumped the fence and went rock-hopping to retrieve it.  The things we do for our sanity!

Daphne and Sophie LOVED meeting the characters.  Daphne wouldn't talk to them much, but afterward she would get so excited.  When I first asked her, she said she didn't want an autograph book but I brought one anyway and I'm so glad I did :)

Greece!

Continuing with our Dates around the World, I'm finally getting around to a new blog post!  We were supposed to go to Ireland in March, but March is super crazy, (plus I didn't really want to eat Corned Beef and Cabbage) so we never got around to it.  In April, however, we went to Greece!  We got some yummy Greek Takeout, which we ate in togas.  :)  Then I planned some Olympic events, which we let the kids join in on.  After the kids went to bed, we watched My Big Fat Greek Wedding!  It was super fun!

I wanted to re-create the garage from the movie, but I didn't have enough paper ;)

The winner was supposed to get this laurel wreath, but we ended up sharing it.
