Christmas!

Christmas is always fun, but this year it seemed a little more magical because both of the kids understood the concept of Santa, and they were both so excited!  It took them both quite a while to fall asleep, and Zachary was up bright and early, asking "Did Santa come yet?!????"  They both had a great time opening their presents, and they loved getting to go to so many different Grandma and Grandpa houses.  Neil and I didn't get each other very much for Christmas this year, but our biggest present was that we opened the gender ultrasound of our baby.  We found out we're having a boy, and we're all (especially Zachary) super excited!

Mom, it's too bright!

Sporting her princess "slippers"

The only thing wanted this year was a good knife (which he proceeded to cut himself with that morning!)

My Dad and Karen got the kids costumes, which they absolutely LOVE

I made calendars for the grandparents this year

I bought these outfits last year, right after we found out Kimberlee was having twins.  They were super cute!

Christmas Eve Party

I only managed to get pictures of one of our Christmas Eve parties this year, but I guess one is better than none!  We did minute to win it games again this year and had a great time!

We had to transfer cotton balls with vaseline on our noses

Zachary became best friends with Jake

One person bounced the ping pong ball, and it had to land on a peanut butter bread

Anthony was having a great time!

Mark was our buzzer guy

And a classic, stacking the dice on the popsicle stick!

Johnson Kids Sing a Christmas Favorite

Zachary and Daphne love the song "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town", and they sang it for us!  We thought we would share with all our friends for Christmas:

Family Pictures

I've been wanting to get some new family pictures taken for quite some time, but life got busy and I never got around to it.  We finally did it one weekend before the weather got too cold, and we had Neil's sister Cami take them.  She's been learning photography just like me, and she got some fun shots!  Daphne was being a little pill, and refused to smile or let me put her down, but I guess that's what you get when you have a 2-year-old!

Halloween

Halloween this year was really fun.  I kept the costumes simple so I didn't have to stress about them, and that gave me time to just enjoy the kids.  We went to our ward trunk-or-treat, and little did I know that was just the warm-up.  The kids were super excited to go trick-or-treating, so we went door to door for the first time.  They had tons of fun, and Daphne was so cute every time she went to the door and said "twick or treat!"  I just love these two!

Zachary was captain Jack Sparrow because he had a sword AND a gun!

Daphne was the cutest little frog ever!

The kids and I had fun decorating our trunk

Pumpkin Carving!

When we went to Pumpkinland, we let each of the kids choose a pumpkin they wanted to carve.  I decided to keep the carving simple this year, but the kids were able to help and Zachary actually did most of it by himself!  They were so proud of their pumpkins, and Neil and I even got to do one :)

What's inside, mom?

Scraping out the guts!

This kid has some serious concentration when he wants

Look mom, I did it all by myself!

The finished products :)
